Magical images in word

MS Office 2000 with latest service packs installed.

Each time I create a new office document or email through office the programme is automatically inserting 3 images which I had put into a document last time it was working normally (several days many reboots and a Norton system works scan ago).

Can delete images but each time I create new document same 3 images appear.

The blank page that comes up when ever you start word or a new doc is actually a template called 'normal.dot'. By the sounds of it you've accidently saved pictures to this template. To check if this is the case, click on search on the start menu and find 'normal.dot' (with different versions of office and works it's not always in the same place). Open it up and if it starts with your graphics in it then that's what you've done. Delete the graphics and save as 'normal.dot' in the place you found it. Hope this works if not then someone else maybe of help.

In the end I had to delete 'normal.dot' as was unable to save an alteration to the file without the graphics.
However as soon as I created a new word file a new blank normal.dot reappeaerd.
