No, but they are abandonware.

Wrong - MS has never rescinded it's copyright to any of it's software. No MS software is or can be classified as abandonware.

Someone at www.trademe.co.nz is selling numerous win 3.11 versions and office software. All on stiffies. Check under PC software. I just checked there this morning.

I reakon they should b by now coz they don't offer any support for them, ring up a microsoft helpdesk and ask for help on MS-DOS and as soon as you say that word, they tell ya to buy something newer of Throw out your PC.. Therefore, I reakon It should be abandonware, even if legally it ain't. I also reakon mr B gates needs to see this coz I still keep my copy of DOS 6.11 handy for doing repairs and stuff when a simply boot disk won't suffice.

If anyone is interested I have found a site where you can download the following operating systems:

IBM OS/2 various versions.

IBM PCDOS 3.3-7.00

MSDOS 3.2 through to 6.622

WINDOWS 1.01 through to 3.11

The files are in .rar compression format, so they need to be 'unrard' using rar32.exe from www.rarlab.com.

The uncompressed files are in .ima disk image format so they then need to be extracted using extract.exe from
www.winimage.com

If there is enough interest then I will post the URL and hope people can get what they want before the MS police get there!
Otherwise, if you type 'download msdos 6.22' into google you may find the site
