Greetings,
I am using Outlook express, my problem is when i send an attachment in an email (like a jpg or in one case a powerpoint, outlook sends it as not just one email but several. These are not recogniseable when received. In the case of the powerpoint it was 11 seperate emails. I just sent a jpg of 79.8kb and that went as 3 emails, any suggestions.
Regards
Barry

There is no way that is supposed to happen, but you knew that! This certainly isn't a case of the wrong box being ticked in outlook somewhere. I would suggest doing the full update using the windows update facility, if that doesn't work, panic!

Actually Chris it is possible.

Barry have you (or someone else) accidently set up file-splitting properties:

Open Outlook Express
Click 'Tools'
Click 'Accounts'
Click 'Properties'
Click 'Advanced'
Under 'Sending' Check out the section titled 'Break Apart Messages Larger Than ___'
If there is a limit (size) set then uncheck the box
Click 'Apply'
Click 'OK'
Click 'Close'

try that to see.

Cheers, Babe.

sounds like the problem we had when useing email via the old BBS's if the attachment
was sent in MIME and the BBS
programme was useing another
decoder ie Uniencode(spelling
wrong ?)the attachment would be recieved as lots of emails,
does this happen just to the one address? or all if all would suggest the problem is your end, not a Guru but hope this is food for thought, good luck
