imesh/kazaa strange...............

while doing a clean out i found something a litle strange. i opened up some dat files (ie files that are partly downloaded) in notepad and found a fair few had url info and also lists of opera settings in them. i think most of the files belong to imesh(no longer used).

I notice that kazaa has another folder named db besides your shared folder
so I checked Properties to see what they were and it looks like music files that weren't completed each time you switch of?

I deleted them,including the empty folder,then opened Kazaa,partly d/led a couple of songs,loogged off and on returning to my files,found a new db folder.

I don't know whether we have a problem or not?

the db (database) folder keeps track of the files you download. not 100% sure which file does exactly what.

if you 'read only' those db folders then kazaa won't name the download when it finnishes and will fail the download.
