View Full Version : DLL error message

Recently my work supplied us with copies of LANDesk 5.03 to install on our home PCs to prevent exporting viruses to their NT network. When it loads on my PC (running Windows 95) it gives the following error message:

This application uses CTL3D32.DLL, which is not the correct version. This version of CTL3D32.DLL is designed for Windows NT systems.

They say that the version supplied is for Windows 95, not for NT. At their suggestion I tried to load a new version of the DLL file from the Windows setup disk, but it refused to do so, saying in the log file that it was an NT file and not needed.

Since this error message appears every time I boot up and every time I invoke LANDesk to run a scan, can you suggest any solution?
