Outlook Express Compose Fault

Each time I click on ' Create Mail' Outlook Express 6 comes up with a fault and closes down. This is on a friends PC. Will reinstalling OE solve the problem or should I look at some other setting etc. Thanks for your help.

Reinstalling OE would be a very good place to start. 'Corruption is the root of all disks'.

I disagree: reinstalling the OS and/or reformatting should be last resorts.
Try going to Start|Settings|Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs|Install/Uninstall and finding OE6. Reinstall OE6 (or5.5 if you prefer) and see how that goes as a first step.

OK, I have uninstalled OE and reinstalled but still the same problem, what next? Thanks for the help
