I have begun to get the odd boot up problem with my PC.When I boot the PC does it's RAM count, goes to the next stage of when it shows the hard drive/CD rom's but then sits there without booting Windows.I find that if I interupt the RAM count by pressing esc it goes thru the BIOS process as normal & boots into Windows.Any help would be appreciated as this as me scratching my head a bit.

Sounds as though you might have a ram problem. Two option to try first. 1 - In the Bios you have an option to quick launch meaning not do the full ram check etc. Enable this and might get you round the prob. 2 - If you have more than one stick of ram in your PC take one out and reboot to see if you still have the prob. If so swap the ram around and try again. I would do this if you can as if the ram is faulty it will cause more probs anyway.
