It used to. But it doesn't now.

Hi Stephen,

What OS are you using (eg Win95)? And what version of Internet Explorer?

Mike - I am using Windows ME and IE 5.5

Thanks for raising this item Stephen. I have the same trouble which presents a problem since I want to use the 'auto repair' feature of IE and evidently I need to access this via the Add/Remove section. BTW I use IE 5.0 (others are too buggy) and Win98.

My question too....I have W98se and IE 5.00 ..IE used to be on my list of programs but then I upgraded to IE 6.00...however I had so many problems with that version that I used the option of returning to previous version that is on the repair tab...thats when my listing disppeared so I hope someone can help...because I too like to be able to use the repair function.

According to this site below, IE may have disappeared from Add/Remove due to a previous uninstall. So try re-installing IE.

Also try the IE Repair option in System Information, you can get to that from Programs-Accessories-System Tools, or by running msinfo32.exe from Start-Run.
This seems to be a common problem.

Terry - I've looked in System information, but I can't see any repair option for IE there - Stephen
