For the security conscious who run IE 6.0, you may be interested to know that there is a fifth hidden security zone in Internet Options->Security->Zones know as My Computer. This means that you can protect yourself from your own system. Microsoft has kept this zone hidden as the average Joe doesn't normally need to lock down their system that tight. Enabling this zone may help stop the spread of trojans and bad ActiveX controls through you're systems. To enable the zone follow these steps:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurre ntVersionInternetSettingsones 'Flags'=dword: 0X00000021 (33) ---default
change to
'Flags'=dword: 0X00000001 (1)
Now reboot or logoff and back on. My Computer should now be visible in the IE Security Zones selection

Morpheus MusicCity the download program for trading media over the net, has added an anti-piracy feature to its site to protect itself and artists from unlawful downloads of their music. Beginning in April, Streamcast Networks, the company that operates popular site, will add technology to erase a downloaded song from a computer after the user listens to it a certain number of times. This technology however will only be applied to those artists who do business with Morpheus directly and in an effort to promote new artists. Here is part what they had to say:
'As we roll out this new way of distributing content over the Internet, you will discover how easy it is to get your music out to millions of people without selling your soul to the bank,' the site says in trying to entice artist participation.
This new service hasn't silenced all of Morpheus's critics however, with them still maintaining that the company is still disregarding copyright law by facilitating trade in protected pieces.
