Running ME.

What method do you use to get into Windows Explorer?

A quick way is to get to it is WindowsKey+E

If you are using the shortcut. Right click on it choose properties and change the start in location to C:\ Not sure if that'll work as it didn't when I tried it on WinXP.

Edit your shortcut and add ' /e' to the target, so it should read something like 'c:\windows\explorer.exe /e'

Kame, this will also work in WinXP.

Thanks Mike works a charm. Though I am too use to Win+E but I'll remember that method.

Are there any other switches you can use?

right click on the icon, and select properties. you will see something like: 'C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,D:\Music' atleast that is what mine says. as you can see, i have mine set to go strait to my music collection. In your case i would set it to 'C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,C' .
BTW, i run 98SE, so i am not 100% sure that you can do the same with ME, but it is east enough to look.
