View Full Version : Something keeps changing home page

I went to an MP3 site. Like many of these, it opened several porn sites - which I closed without clicking on anything.
Now, my home page keeps resetting to httP://www.lolitaporn.com
I have gone through my registry and deleted all entries with this address (many many many), changed my IE5 homepage etc.
Yet, everytime I reboor, the registry is polluted again and the homepage reset to this porn site.
Hopw do I find the rogue applet and disable/remove it?

These things annoy the BeeGee's out of me. You could empty the Cache (completely clear it, sometimes they have a name that looks entirely harmless), normally they tend to reside in that.

Or if your one of the lucky few you may need to run a virus scanner, just incase it's actually a virus that's been running in the webpage background.

That's my 5 cents, I can't think of any other options just yet. Best of luck killing this webpage spam problem.

Lt Rico: 'Kill'em, Kill'em all!'
