You could uninstall and download again; because xtra provided it they can call it and display certain things; I bet there is a tweak program which will allow you to customise it yourself.

Have you got any PC mags CD which should have it on board(there ie6 will have a title provided by xxx).

Hi. It's a registry setting that you need to modify to get rid of it. For earlier IE versions, you can actually put whatever graphic you like in it's place, as well as rename the title bar. Sorry I don't know exactly what keys to modify in IE 6, as I don't use IE enough to bother with it, but just wanted to let you know it's possible. GO NETSCAPE!

Hiya - What you have is called 'branding' Here is how to remove ISP branding and restore the spinning IE globe

These links will be of help with branding:

Title bar

To restore the spinning globe..
Open Regedit, navigate to this key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]

Delete the 'BrandBitmap' and 'SmBrandBitmap' value, then restart your computer

(note the name may change depending on provider).

If you want to restore the default Windows Title, follow these steps:

Open Regedit, delete the following value in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\WindowTitle

And then navigate to this branch:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express]

Double-click the 'WindowTitle' value and change it to Outlook Express
