"Your Xtra account settings are out of date" is driving me nuts!

How can I stop getting this this notification?
My Xtra mail seem to be functioning okay.
TIA.
Peter.

We need a bit more info here, but more than likely this is the Windows 10 mail app causing that pop up. Do you use the Windows 10 mail app? If not, what client do you use to get your email? Or do you go to Xtra webmail?

All you should need to do is remove your account from the Win10 mail app, assuming you don't actually use it. If you do use it, we'd need to look into that a bit further to find out what's not right with the Xtra account settings in the mail app.

I use Outlook 2016 in Win-10 Pro in version 1809.

Cool - look in your start menu for 'Mail', you can search for it if you can't find it. Open it, go to account settings, see if your Xtra account is there, and if it is, remove it.

People still use Xtra email?? Gave up years ago and went to outlook.com and Gmail. Way less problems.

This particular issue is nothing to do with Xtra specifically. I'd hazard a guess that Peter has a MS account login on his PC using his Xtra address. Windows has probably tried to be clever and set this email account up in the mail app which has caused this issue.

Issue is now solved. Thank you wratterus.
