My network here consists of the following:

Draytek Vigor 130 modem
TP-Link TL-WR1034ND wireless router - running Gargoyle

Quite happily ticking along running 3 computers, and 8+ various other mobile devices, Until recently, it was also running VOIP via Yealink device.

Anyway, I now have a smart TV. Beside the TV there is also a Home Theatre PC that connects to the network via a USB dongle. I would like to run both the TV and HTPC off one device, with wireless connection to the TP-Link.

What do you recommend please? I don't have hundreds to spend, but do want quality please.

First thing that comes to mind instead of running cables is Powerline Adapters.

TP-Link have them, easy to setup, example from PBTech https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NETTPL0422/TP-Link-PowerLine-TL-WPA4220KIT-300500Mbps-Starter

Setup one of those at a customers house a week back, along with these https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NETTPL0410/TP-Link-PowerLine-TL-PA4010PKIT-500Mbps-Starter-Ki

They needed extra outlets but wireless wasn't required as the internet was going directly into the TV's Ethernet port. Sure beat trying to run cables through 3 levels of the building.

Unfortunately this is a 1920's house, so the electrical wiring is in need of replacement. Opting for the powerline solution maybe a no-go

If you can get under the house it is pretty easy to run a cable under the floor. Run that from your TP link and put a switch by the TV and plug the TV and adjacent PC into it.
