How can I tell the time of day that a PC starts up after a power off?
Know it will be in event viewer but can't track it down.
Many thanks

If you don't wish to look at the eventvwr, then open a CMD, and type in

systeminfo | find /i "Boot Time" <press Enter>

OR for more accurate

wmic os get lastbootuptime

Thanks heaps for that.
Gulp - no wonder I couldn't find it buried away down there!

If you're running 8.1 or 10 that bootime/uptime could actually be inaccurate, as Windows doesn't really shut down if you have the Fast Startup option turned on, which it is by default.
