Hi All.
2 HDs I am interested in
Seagate Expansion 1TB USB 3,Portable HD @ $109.99
WD My Passport Ultra 1TB USB 3, Portable HD @ $97.99

I already have a WD which has a computer image backup. I thought of "copying" actual files/folders, Music, Documents etc. I am assuming 1TB is big enough. Is either of these better than the other? Thanks. PJ

Price can determine that. Save some money. Both are however fine, not sure on the USB aspect, but taken out of their enclosure they worked fine in devices I put them in. 5 years, no issues yet.

WD.

Too many failures too soon with Seagate lately.

I have never had problems with my seagate for over 3 years now.
You might want to look at Noel Leeming, they have a special on Seagate this weekend for $78

WD, all the way!

Not the MyPassport though
The actual drive inside the case has no sata connector,
making data recovery all that much harder & making the drive unusable if the cases USB port fails

..unless they changed the construction again
