Hi, anyone got suggestions on how to get a website noticed?, i run a site called www.100inch.orcon.net.nz and ive got it ranked first on yahoo!, google and a few others but i later found out the keywords my site uses where only looked up like 60 times last month on the search engine, i know i could buy some banner exposure, but does it really work?, i dont think ive ever clicked on a banner EVER. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Business cards, letterheads, envelopes, invoices, car number plate, sign on shop, sign at gate, email signature...

Yellow pages ad - www.yellowpages.co.nz

Get mentioned in print magazines and journals.

Oh, and change the first page to INCLUDE your title. It takes a bit of hunting to see what you are actually advertising! How many people look at the title bar?

Hey King,

I could possibly help you with that. Most of the advertising running on our sites (including PressF1,PC World, IDGNet, etc), get very good response. If you want to talk advertising, send me an email at kerry_dodds@idg.co.nz, or checkthe following link for our rate cards:

hmm, good point, should i make a splash page that has all the info and and enter button at the bottom to continue on to the site, i cant really put any text on the frontpage without screwing up the design.
