View Full Version : Cannot view Outlook Express pages

While using the newsgroup option in Outlook Express I did something that has brought up an MSN Error Type 404 message 'Sorry, the page you're trying to reach is temporarily unavailable or the page may no longer exist.'
I cannot get rid of this even after rebooting and going back to Outlook Express. The top toolbar, etc are all there. I know that all of my folders are there and I am receiving new e-mail messages but I'm locked into this page for some reason and cannot access anything.

Thanks, but it doesn't work. Somehow I've gotten rid of the error page but only have a blank screen under the tool bar.

I do not know what is causing this, but I have a suggestion as to what it might be:

Do you have any net-blocking programs running - eg Net-Nanny, Surfwatch, Cybersitter etc. etc. as some of these can block access to newsgroups etc. and may have to be reconfigured to allow you access to them.
