Is there any programme avaiable to disable the Internal Pc speaker with out having to unplug the speaker inside the computer?

LOL, for reference purposes, you can do that in the BIOS usually

In XP -Control panel, System, Device Manager, System, System speaker and select Disable.

Never seen it and I've looked at a lot of BIOS... I would just wire a switch into the speaker cable

I would just leave the damned thing as it is, It has a purpose.

What's the bet this chump is sneaking out to the PC at night to look up porn and he's worried the beep on power-up will be over heard by someone in the house who will snap him out with his hand in his pants.

The secret is to leave the PC running if your intent on late night stealth viewing of porn.

Never seen it and I've looked at a lot of BIOS... I would just wire a switch into the speaker cable

With my 2 laptops I can set the internal speaker volume to Low, medium, high or mute

I can do it on my desktop too, with an Asus mobo
