On startup there is a numeric on screen keypad, in the top left on screen the owner enters the 4 digit pin and all is well but she want to get rid of it and have no login password.

I am not sure if its even a win 8 product as it doesn't look like it belongs on the screen.
I have been into Accounts / Sign options / the screen has the PIN sign in quickly with a four digit number but doesn't have the Remove button as an option.

Not wanting to add another pin i haven't taken it any further.

Have run Kaspersky Rescue disk found nothing, MBAM found some PUP's and Adaware found some more. All removed.

TIA Wayne

In the run box type 'control userpasswords2' and untick the 'users must enter a username and password' option, type in the password and bob's your uncle.

"netplwiz" is a lot shorter to type and takes you to the same place.

I disable it on all my machines, nobody but me uses them anyway.
