View Full Version : App sharing in WinXP Pro

If anyone out there is still familiar with WinXP Pro, I did a bad screw-up to my system and wonder if there is a work-around. (I'm a single user on a non-networked PC).
My pc was originally set up with just a single user, and no administrator.
While trying to install an app, the installation instructions said that it must be installed as "Administrator", so (ignorant me) created an "administrator", while disregarding some clear warnings that I might lose some data!
More important was that I lost much of the organization of my PC, so that now many of my apps are divided between the "administrator" user and the "User" user.
I have found online instructions as to how to "share" files between the different users, but is there any way to allow free access to all apps among all "administrators" and "users" on the PC? For example, I'd like my browsers to have the same history/bookmarks/etc.
Thanks for any help.

Sounds too simple, but I'll give it a try.
