We get DNS Connection error when our Internet drops off.DNS hook up failure etc. Is the answer to use Google public DNS address which I saw on a YouTube tutorial? Thanks in advance for your help.

If youre using Chrome try another browser. Try the Google DNS server ips.. If that doesnt work, something maybe blocking access to the net

Quite often DNS forwarding will crash on certain ISP-supplied routers. Your router is supposed to take the requests from the network, check and see if you've asked for it recently, and save asking for it out on the internet if you have (Supposed to be a speed thing).

Here's how you can check (Halfway down for Windows) what your DNS Server is:
http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-find-out-what-my-dns-servers-address-is/
If the address starts with "192.168", it's your router you're using for DNS, and it's crashing.

Skip it and go either straight to your ISP or use Google PublicDNS.
