Need a cheap $200 computer for general use - email, youtube, video playback, internet browsing, office work, etc...

Will an HP Compaq 6005/Elite 8000 ex-lease be alright running windows 8.1?

Intel Core2Duo E8400
2GB-4GB Ram

Something like this: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=EXWKSHP8001B&name=OFF-LEASE-A-Grade-HP-Elite-8000-SFF-C2D-3GHz-4GB-1

TIA.

Well I'm still using one and I run a couple of fairly intensive CAD programs on mine, no intention of upgrading for another year or so if nothing goes wrong

I was using a 3Ghz dell optiplex 755 which is a core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM and installed windows 8 with media centre on it. It worked surprisingly well, full hd playback with ease and general browsing worked really well.
I only replaced it as I ended up with a lot of spare parts from my experiment with litecoin mining.

Okay, awesome, should be miles better than the Celeron that is currently being used from 10 years ago lol.
