View Full Version : Is this your ' Lucky Month'?

This month (August) will have 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays.

This happens only once every 823 years and the Chinese call it 'Silver pockets full' (but not very often!)

The legend goes that if you send this message to your friends, in four days money will 'surprise' you. (No indication as to win or loss, or whose pockets are full!)

Based on Chinese Feng Shui, whoever does not transmit the message ..... may find themselves poor.

(You never know). Nothing to lose!! ???

Cheers

(I've posted this without checking its veracity, why spoil the fun?!)

It might be a good month to have a birthday then

This sort of chain mail annoys me. The last time we had 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August was 2003 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_year_starting_on_Wednesday).

With Win9, any year can be a checkmate year. There are no leap years while they wait for the world to adjust and catch up to the mandatory M$ calendar where every year has 16 months of 32 days, each day being 16 hours long to reduce the processing overhead and make more resources available for the new random ribbon menu with dogs and dancing paperclips.
Seems fair enough. ;)

Except perhaps friends.

The next August with the same combination is 2025. The last one was 2003. It's a lot more common than we are led to believe.

Except perhaps friends.

Temporarily misplaced perhaps, but real friends are never lost.

A friend who walks away, never was.
