View Full Version : How do I contact Adobe?

Before my husband died, he bought me a copy of Photoshop CS5 with his Student ID. All has been ok until recently, when I bought a new lappy, and after an uneventful install of Photoshop on it, I inadvertently reformatted it and had to reinstall everything again. This time around, Adobe tells me that I had the wrong serial number (I haven't) and won't let me complete the updates (which I need for my new camera).

The options to fix this online don't seem to suit my situation, and I feel I need to talk to someone at Adobe to help me/talk my way through things. When I try the various on-line options I can't work out how I do that. Any suggestions would be welcome, and of course, I am only available to do this through outside normal business hours. :(

And once again, your help is truly appreciated. :)

On their site, or on Facebook. If you're on it

Copies of Creative Suite purchased for with student ID's/for educational purposes generally come with one time use keys (to stop on sale I would assume). I would assume that you're going to need Adobe to deactivate the old install. If you contact customer service here: http://helpx.adobe.com/nz/contact.html they should be able to help you. Alternatively you could see if there is any helpful information here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html

RM are you selecting international English as the language option during the install?
Because if you select US English it will refuse the key (had this happen to my CS4 Production Premium).

Mmm - that seems to ring a bell in my head. :( Will I have to uninstall Photoshop and try again?
