Hi, I'm not too sure how much they cost, but email Callum from Securabridge Investment Ltd, as their Information Services offer clone printer cartridges for sale at, I think, a fairly reasonable price... his email is callumh@securabridge.co.nz

Be very wary of clones and refilled cartridges! I twice tried them in my last printer (an Epson)and both times wrecked the print head at $140 replacement cost. All ink cartridges cost heaps - look at the printer reviews and see the cost per page of printing but is using a clone worth the risk?

Of course, HP cartridges include the print head. That is one reason why they cost so much.

Other manufacturers just charge a LOT, for a plastuc box and a small amount of ink. (15 ml in some).

I was pleased to buy an obsolete Epson inkjet for $15 at auction, because I knew that shops round town were clearing the old stock of cartridges at $5. They were Epson 20002 cartridges -- held 300 ml. That was good value. Even the old retail price of $78 was not too bad compared with $40 for 17 ml for the 480.
