Hi All
I am looking for a monitor 24-29 inch.
Not a wide format. CAD work. Does anyone know of a good deal somewhere? The Dell had some flash card and usb ports and not last it had quite good sound.

How about a good quality LED/ LCD TV - just wonder if that'd be as crisp as a dedicated monitor? TV's in that size range are cheap as chips lately.

Do you mean 4:3 Format ?

If so you may be hard pressed in finding any that size, the majority of displays are wide screen these days. Viewsonic still do 4:3 but the largest still available is 19"

Now that this Veon 24' TV has been fixed, it's fine as a computer monitor. You can either connect it with HDMI , or VGA, if it doesn't have a DVI connection. I use it for the netbook, which has HDMI on it

I also use it to test computers that I'm fixing. I dont have to bring the computer into the bedroom.

You could just get a widescreen monitor and in it in 4:3 using scaling. Some monitors actually have the ability to run in 4:3 built in.

Thanks guys/ladies
I had a closer look at this (http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=nz&cs=nzbsd1&l=en&s=bsd&sku=391-10090&redirect=1) one though it takes 8 working days to get it.
If I knew of a similar one within NZ I would consider it. Obviously no store of Dell within NZ.:illogical

Is it not listed on dell.co.nz?

Dell.co.nz is in India(the person I talk to) and their distribution center in Malaysia ( the Indian lady told me). I bought a monitor of theirs. Takes till the 9May to arrive!
