Problem seems to be cyclic. I have two reports which derive from a pair of querys on the same dataset (a single query doesn't work as there seem to be too many cross references). I have inserted both of these into a main report as sub-reports. I am trying to compare data from each sub-report, sorted by a key from the main report, but to no avail. The main report can't compare the data because the sub-reports can't sort the data until the main report runs. Any ideas?

Hi Ray,
You seem to have struck the same response I have whenever I post an Access question.
Go to these two sites and someone will help you.

Many thanx BC,
I managed to sort the problem out - I also 'discovered' Microsoft's Knowledge Base - A really big help. I'll check out you're suggestions though - All sources of assistance are handy to keep track of.
