Hi guys, I just purchased the Settlers 7 Gold Edition v1.11 annnnd I would like too play the game without using Ubisoft's DRM as my PC is not always connected to the internet. Also it is very annoying. I should be able to legally 'crack' :p the game as I purchased it. I have found some DRM removing cracks but they are for older versions and I was wondering if you could force an older update on the game? Any help would be very appreciated. Been a huge fan of the Settlers games and I've been dying to play it.

The no-CDs are around, there are 2 main sites they do them....but if there isn't one for your version....well not much you can do.
Try the old one, it may or may not work.

I just get an error message when I try an old one. I could try to see if there is a way to play the game without internet connection without a No-CD.
Ubisoft's DRM is such a pain.

I know, I know. CD cracking is frowned upon. It may take be to some of the darker places on the web but, it's worth it if it works.
Good thing I have a pop up blocker and an ad blocker.

Is your game connected to your ubisoft account? As in it needs to be logged in to use the game?

I just used Uplay, and ran the Settlers in offline mode. Though I can't use my DLC content, I can still play the game.
I think Ubisoft finally decided that it was time to have an offline mode feature in Uplay as they didn't really have this before. I read heaps of complaints on the steam forums of people not being able to play the game because of DRM. Then there were people vowing not to buy it till the DRM was removed. This has obviously changed.
