Hi Guys
Any recommendations to a small app to delete otherwise undeletable folders: folders that may have paths or filenames too long for Win to cope with,or that somehow links back on itself or somehow otherwise corrupt .

Its subfolders in a temp folder that had files from other HD's temporarily copied onto it.

rd /s /q doesnt allways work for this sort of thing.
Im after a small app to del folders (not just files) , rather than have to fire up a Lin based Boot CD to do it

Something not riddled with the usual adware/spyware prefered :)
Cheers

Try unlocker. Or try deleting it / them in safe mode

If you can delete the files within the folder you can then usually delete the folder itself. As Speedy says, try Safe Mode.

looks like unlocker has a delete function & claims to cope with invalid names. I'll give it a go
