For a while now I have had the problem where I click on a website link and I am taken to a page that tells me that Nortons has blocked access because it is a Malicious Website. I am clicking on links that I think do not have any problems. If I go back and try again I am usually taken to the correct website. The common thing that I can see is that it has something to do with Dealply. I don't have this installed. Hope you are able to view a screen shot I have attached.
Stan.

Or Just don't use norton, that's always an option. Myself I value unobtrusiveness over features, MSE/ Defender is almost completely unoticeable on a modern PC and does a good Job for free. Kaspersky which I've tried and Nortons which I regularly see complaints about are much more "in your face" and irritating. Can't comment on NOD32 which is the popular paid solution on this forum as I've never tried it.

Norton also suffer from a bad reputation for system performance hits and not uninstalling cleanly. It may or may not be justified, I hear the current version is pretty good based on reviews but like a lot of people I'm not willing to try it again after bad experiences a few years back. I still see the techs on here recommending against it though.

If you are being redirected to other sites, then you have some sort of malware on the computer. Norton is basically blocking some dangerous site that you are being redirected to. Its actually one time Norton is actually doing what you paid for, other than that as dugimodo posted - Agree regarding Norton.

Looks like dealply may adware (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2013-042407-3032-99). So you may have installed something that installs it

As it says here (http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?Name=Adware%3AWin32%2FDealPly).

Adware:Win32/DealPly is an adware program that displays offers related to your web browsing habits. It may be bundled with certain third-party software installation programs.
