View Full Version : Can't see file names

Whenever I right-click on a logo (or in fact any image)and selct 'save picture', I can't see the names of the other images already in the folder I'm saving too. Even if I just saved another picture a minute earlier, the file name isn't there. When I go into explorer and open the folder, all the files (and names) are there, but invisible when I'm actually saving them.

I'm using IE6 in Windows ME. Anybody have any ideas about this?

The only thing I can think of is that the first pic you saved may have been a different format from the second one you saved, therefore it would only have shown pics of that format as you were saving. Eg if the pic you were saving was a GIF, it would only have displayed GIFs, so if there were no other GIFs in there, none would have shown up, even if you had BMPs or JPGs in there.

I think Mike is right: I see this when saving to floppies.
The directory of a prewritten disk contains only files with the same extension as the one I am about to write. Gets the free space OK though.
