You haven't told us how big your hard drive is or how much memory.
If your hard drive is fairly full and is badly defragmented the swap file could be having major problems. Clean out all unwanted files and then run scandisk and defrag. Or have you loaded a new program on lately that might have loaded an older system file over a newer one.

Here's a URL for a site with lots of info about fatal exception errors and links to relevent articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. If you scroll towards the bottom of the page you will find your error message. If you have an AMD K6-2 450 cpu then the problem could be overheating, a better heatsink and fan may be the answer. Flaky ram can also cause fatal exceptions.
