Hi Team,
I have a Elite LAS8A2 mobo on which the cmos battery has reached the end of its life.

Does anyone know what make and modle the battery is please.

Cheers,

I just went to PBtech and bought a few for all my old motherboards a while back.

CR202 is the type, almost all motherboards use this but I can't guarantee yours does.

CR2032. Open the case, you'll see if its a desktop

CR2032 are usually used, but not always.

Buy something reputable. Cheap ones are likely to leak.

Oops sorry, 2032 is what mine were also, dunno if I read it wrong or typed it wrong but either way I got it wrong..

Thanks Team,
Hoping to buy a battery before I open the case.
Don't want to de-cable and open it twice.
Being lazy I guess, however thank you all.

You dont have to remove any cables. Just open the case, the battery is on the mobo
