Would like to be able to protect inportant data I backup to cd daily
Remember seeing a PC Guardian product that does just that - but is too expensive converted to NZ Dollars
Does anyone know of alternatives that will do a similar job for me?
Thanks, Simon

PGP (www.pgpi.com) is the standard for strong encryption.

You could try just PGP, or you may be able to use PGPdisk.

Try PGP, it is free with a number of options. Another free one is Scramdisk which creates a virtual drive on your HD and also has upto 128 blowfish and others for encrytion. Scramdisk is supposed to be able to be transferred to a CD as well.
