For some reason all the folders under my Inbox have reversed their order so the numbers are at the bottom instead of the top.

No idea why its done this but I need it back.

While this isn't much help ( if any) after doing a bit of reading on the interweb thingy :D -- it seems Outlook 2010 has a bug in it that can make the arrangements go as mentioned.

So far have not found any actual workable answer, most hinge around some sort of corruption in the pst FILE, as outlook has built in settings to auto arrange the folders which appear to be locked, un-changeable.

If you click on the View Tab in outlook there are quite a few different options, but cant seem to find anything that changes the folder arrangements.

Outlook 2013 is easy, you can change the layout of the folders as you want.

If it were me, Id save the original PST file in a safe place, try making another account, importing the original pst file and hope it fixes the problem. If you try any new accounts make sure you have a backup of the original just in case. -- No idea if that would work or not, cant even test it as I don't have the problem. :2cents:

PS: I'd actually import the original PST file into another computer to test if it worked / fixed the problem first.

Its a work computer, I have no access to the PST.
Looks like I am passing this one on to the IT guys.

Just for your own Info, a common "workaround" is http://office.microsoft.com/en-nz/outlook-help/change-the-folder-arrangement-in-the-navigation-pane-HA102674099.aspx

Another common set of suggestions are written in the following thread, as you'll see nothing really concrete, except the pst file has some sort of corruption.
