Excel question

Not sure if this is possable i downlaod a table consisting of names in the left colum titles across the top and across the sheet each cell is filled with Complete or Not Complete.

Can i convert them to either a tick or cross or a second option would be just Y or N?

Try this, open the spread sheet, click on Find & Select>Replace.

Find what ---- Complete

Replace with --- Y

Along the bottom you have other options.


Same thing with Not Complete / N

You maybe able to insert a tick in the replace ( From the character coding ) , but Not to sure how to do it, the X is easy enough, but I cant get the tick to work, its in wingdings ( fonts) :)
