What is the best procedure for installing ME on a seperate partition. I have Partition Magic.
Basically i want to reformat the HDD and then install ME and keep it on it's own partition, so i can reinstall windows anytime i please with minimum fuss.
i.e. Should i partition the hard drive first before reformatting so I don't have to install partition magic after the reformat, so that i start off with a very clean copy of windows?

Sure, repartition the hard drive first, probably the easiest way to go. Have you got the DOS pmagic rescue disks? You would have been prompted to create them when installing partition magic. These allow you to do your partitioning from DOS, which means you don't actually have to install partition magic on the computer to use it. Helpful if you manage to screw up your partitions and can't get into Windows anymore too...
