90 inch TV. Sounds about right, but only 1080? 4K all the way :D

90 sounds right to me, just a bit small may be!

Sony HMZ1: 150 inch at 3 meters, a bit selfish but awesome device

For example, most people sit about 9 feet (108 inches) from their TV Really? I dont know anyone who would sit that close to their TV. Most place I visit their TV is like at one end of their living room and seating at the other end (or closer to), damn sure their living rooms are longer and wider than 12-15 feet. We have a small living room and the TV is still about 16 feet from the sofa. Going by that, we would need a TV the size of the wall lol. And I really couldnt be bothered having to move my neck looking from one side of the screen to the other :)

I pity anyone who buys a TV based on those articles rather then what they think suits them best.

Anyhow, This is how big is should be for optimal viewing pleasure3990

I'm thinking of buying a TV, haven't owned one for about 10 years.
Well there is one in the house and technically I paid for it but it isn't really mine heh. That one belongs to the 6yr old.

I never understand why anyone would do that, how are you supposed to watch it properly?

I dont know, I'm not really into watching TV, imo theres hardly anything worth watching unless you get the discovery channel or something. We have a little 32" HD tele and it does the job, the misses has it on for background noise more than anything else.
