So we've not done one in quite a while ... Time for another? :D

If we get Wi-Fi wherever we decide to eat, we could do a G+ Hangout with other people who can't physically attend!

I'm free for two weeks - SWMBO has been transported, so I have a leave pass for fourteen long days. Pity about the weather.
Are we dining on Pizzas or Asian?

While the cat is away the mice will play.:devil:eek:

I'm quite happy to dine on both just personally ;-)

The school holidays are probably a bad time for me too, I'm thinking a little more notice than that ought to ensure we can get more people to attend?
Saturdays usually work just fine, so I'm keen to stick with that too?

27th of July or 3rd of August perhaps?

I could do the G+ hangout part so long as it's not this Saturday

Ah yeah OK my bad, 28th / 4th then?

This is what happens when I post in a rush when on a break from work. Not good with the finer details ;) Perhaps we could do another closer to Christmas too, we seem to do them every 6-9 months?

Gary67, be cool to have you join us mate! :D

I'll vote with Jen. Definitely inside, at least while global warming has been so thoroughly defeated here. (@ mikebartnz. Other mice must be getting my turn at bat at the moment, or the game is at a different park. :( )

OK so tentatively the 28th then?

Sals? Or Asian foodcourt off Albert St?

Lunch, I am guessing? I will check my schedule and see if I can make a special trip to Auckland on that day.

Lunch at Albert St. perhaps? It might just suit the climate a little better. I'll see if the manager can be persuaded to attend on the 28 th.

I assume I can bring my girlfriend if she can get the day off work (and wants to)? :p

How many of you like Mexican? There is a dine in only one around the block where the Westpac building is (And the Kiwi Tavern). Paying separate bills however is another thing.

Edit:
On second thoughts, that would be a bad idea. Waiting for a table with a mixture of peeps is not going to work.

Chilling_Silence

Permission for her to attend isn't an issue, convincing her on the other hand is likely to cause you the most grief ;)

I'm good with Albert St lunch again. Much more likely to find a seat!

Darn, I'm home 13th July and 10th of August. But will try join the G+ hangout depending on what time of day you were thinking.

I work until 4 on a Friday.

One closer to Christmas sounds like a plan though I'll be back in Auckland in Mid-October.

Well given how easy it was to get her to look through new carriages at Britomart, I don't think it'll be much of an issue :D

Yup, I don't think the need for a +1 button was decided on the designated thread, but on threads like these ;)

Now there's an idea worthy of a T shirt, best idea I have seen in any forum, ever. Seems a definite application for several +1 buttons.

Chilling_Silence
17-07-2012, 11:56 PM
Why, what's up?

I just realized how fast the 28th is approaching! Can we get a quick roll call of those still attending? :)

I'm coming, but my girlfriend may not as she doesn't know when her netball game is that day (she won't find out until Tuesday).

Chilling_Silence
25-07-2012, 10:24 PM
Oh geez this has really crept up on us hasn't it!

OK how about .... 12:30? Or 1PM? I don't bus so dunno the timetable, but if I remember rightly 1PM is probably better for those who wanna bus (Or train?).

pcuser42
25-07-2012, 10:42 PM
Either or works for me :)

R2x1
26-07-2012, 10:33 AM
Probably 1 pm is better, allows a better chance for those who take the train scheduled to arrive at 11:55 to get there more easily. Otherwise they have to take the 8 am train, and train fanciers take so long to tie their shoelaces that would mean getting up at 2 am

The manager's dad has gone base over apex and I am acting as translator ( hah ) until he gets rejointed. Have fun, and johcar will have to quaf karameadave's ale.
