It would seem from 15 August flash is being pulled fom the google play store, and not supPorted officially on jellybean. http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/28/adobe-confirms-it-wont-support-flash-on-android-4-1/

I don't get the new installs halt? Adobe must be planning something.

I couldn't care less, HTML5 and CSS are more than enough to fill the hole Flash did. lighter and more secure too!

Adobe stopped developing flash for mobile devices awhile ago. Most updates are just security patches.

Why ? The sooner Flash dies full stop the better.

Shortly Windows Phone will be getting all of those. :D

Nearly, I'm just ensuring I'll have enough left over to see me through. When your yearly income is under $2000, even a $600 spend seems like a big investment, even more so having recently bought a laptop.

I wonder what OS you're on? :p Yup, I do like the windows UI. Currently using launcher 7 for my phone, I like the look and it speeds up the ui.

WP is amazing, Jellybean is crazy cool.... iOS well idk what to say, I feel it has slipped from it's revolutionary point. As much as I dislike steve's fruit salad I feel apple really need him at the helm, the company really need him to steer the company through a very intense competition period

Yay no more flash. It just makes the browsing experience on android worse.

I would give Tim Cook a little more time before writing him off.

Well with no Flash on Android devices and no Flash on Apple devices. How long is Flash going to be used.
Admittedly Adobe has provided HTTP Live Streaming so that Apple and Android devices can view Flash files.

Pfft they told everybody ages ago two things:
1) It'll only be in the default browser, not Chrome for Android
2) ICS will be the last supported released for Flash on Android

They also said "Go use Air for apps' and native HTML versions of websites for mobile devices.

Why is everybody so shocked all of a sudden?!

Windows phone is 'way ahead of Android here; not only Flash, but heaps of other stuff stopped working aeons ago. (or it might be just a bit slow opening, it is often hard to tell the difference between broken and just laggardly on Windows things.) ;)

Good riddance maybe? Or, 'now bring on HTML5' :p

The sooner flash is dead for things like ads and such the better. It might make my favourite cartoon (flash 8) but damnit even this PC i'm on now lags on many flash apps and ads, simply because they're so badly coded.
I wouldn't even MIND looking at ads if they didn't detract from my browsing experience, but they do, so I hate it.

Keen for HTML5 to really take off too, it's been like USB3 or PCIE3 or HL ep 3; taking far too long.

Not only have A-dooby given up supporting Android, I was informed by them
when downloading flash 11.whatever today as a targz for to go in my Puppy
that they are ceasing support for Linux in general :( f@#$ them.

Flash sucks a wad.

I await Nokia's release of a Pureview windows phone, then I can really see one device to rule them all Muahahahahaha!
Seriously though 1X1.25 inch 41 Mp sensor....what a shame the screen and OS on the present model let it down.
clever image processor too!

I am so sick of stupid web sites that use it when it adds absolutely nothing to the site. Had one stupid one where it only used flash in one stupid little window (about a third of the window). I emailed them to let them know that they had lost me as a customer because of the stupidity of it but I don't think the message sank in.

I'm glad it's going on the desktop as well, my wife plays FB games and flash sucks the life out of the computer.

The only reason to have Flash is to watch Salad Fingers.
