Am in the market for an AMD CPU.
Anything supported by this mobo: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A79XTD_EVO/#CPUS
Obviously the quicker the better
Price within reason but not a barrier

All I want is a reliable supplier, who in case of RMA doesn't leave the country

(have dealt with Ascent, Computer Lounge, Elive in the past. All good, but their stocks are rather limited due to the CPU age)

My prefered brand is computer lounge due to their great customer support and free, fast delivery. I got a case from them and rdered it in the morning, it got here at 7:00am the next day and im in wellington.

They only list one athlon though and the rest are FX and I don't know if they work on that motherboard.
I've always found them to be a reliable supplier.

Note, I had a look and it doesn't seem like a FX series will work on that, you might have to try somewhere like trademe to get a phenom II

Computer Lounge are pretty good. Got my last computer from them. Got an email from them that they had sent it on a Friday so I wasn't expecting it to turn up till Monday, but it arrived on Saturday morning. Don't think they have as big a range listed as Ascent though.

If Ascent and CL don't have what you looking for then you will be struggling elsewhere too

CPUs are one of the most reliable parts of the system... Warranty would likely run out before it failed, in any case, you could RMA direct to AMD if the retailer was gone.
