My windows 7 is having issues, I can't seem to change any settings on the pc. I can't change admin name, can't turn on network sharing and its so slow. whenever i try changing any settings, the save bottun appers to be unclickable! anybody with an idea??

What version of win7 is it? Scan it for malware

UAC? Are you running as a standard user or administrator?

Sounds like you don't have administrator rights, do you log in with a password?

I run the admin user and its password, protected. i can change the passowrd but nothing else in the user menu. I want to change the user name but its not changing!

Yeah , taking a guess , it's a malware infection , if u can , acess Internet , use something like malware bytes , to remove it or if possible , go to system restore , and restore system . Though if it is not a. Virus then , u might have something corrupted , which doesn't let u access those features . That's my thinking , not sure if it is right .
