Would someone make some recommendations for this please? 'Himself' wants to listen to DVDs on the TV and not drive me nuts! And not have wires trailing across the floor that we would both trip on.

We have just had a trip to town to be shown items costing $300 odd, which he refused to even consider. Suggestions would be most welcome! :)

Go to HN or Leemings - you can get a decent set for $80 -$100 :)

You can get really cheap "el-cheapo" ones on Trade Me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/home-audio/headphones/auction-472809630.htm They work quite well.

We have one set for my wife to listen to TV, and another I use to transmit streaming audio to an FM radio in the kitchen.
Many use 86Mhz as the frequency, so to use with an FM radio which may typically go down to 87 MHz, the radio tuning coil has to be tweaked a bit to lower the frequency.
