Hmmm it's a decent board, though personally I'd be going for the B75 chipset - you can get a decent B75 uATX board for ~$130 and you're ready for Ivy Bridge.

You should of just got this

http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/components/motherboards/intel/auction-470146418.htm

The fastest cpu that fits your mobo, a Gigabyte mobo, ram and a 1gb gpu all for 1,149.00. What more could you possibly want?

I see a $1000 price difference.

But your spending $1000 more. Imo you shouldn't tell him to go buy something else instead when: 1) you dont know what he needs 2) you have no idea of his budget and 3) the parts in the bundle you selected (for the price) are either over priced as a bundle or silly to purchase anyway. You should be able get those parts for sub $1000.

Choose your words carefully.

@chaz: When you get the board make sure to grab the latest bios update as it enables support for ivy bridge.

Actually I consider that a weird Combo, the H67 chipset is not designed for overclocking, the 2600K is the overclocking version of the CPU....
The P67 chipset lacks access to the graphics core of sandy bridge CPUs and doesn't have native USB3.0 support but other than that is an awesome chipset for gamers and overclockers and a much better match for K version CPUs than H67.

The Z68 combines the features of P67 and H67. Z77 adds a little more again so for people serious about games and overclocking you want Z77, Z68, or P67

I'll update the bios when I get it. And No, I would not be able to get the bundle stratex5. It costs too much.
Dugi, does the graphics core handle some of the graphics processing?

Id think from what he said it doesnt support onboard graphics only the H & Z chipset.

No you can't use the graphics core at all on a P67, you have to use a dedicated graphics card. The chipset seems fairly squarely aimed at gamers. and they never use onboard graphics anyway.
I have a P67 board myself and see no reason to upgrade it so far. They should support ivy bridge with the latest BIOS and mine has USB 3.0 support added so all it's really missing is the ability to use quicksync - nothing I'll get upset over.

Yeah I'll be just using a dedicated card anyway. It also has USB3 which is good. Thanks Dugi.
