I have recently uninstalled Netscape Communicator, (still have Internet Explorer). This has been successful, but there is a folder remaining in Windows under Programme files called Netscape. This contains further folders: communicator, programme, java, classes, netscape, communicator, plugins, winamp, users, archive, mail, news, shost news?? - should be ghost? Is it safe for me to manually delete these files? I realise this is pretty basic, but I'm new to this!

It will contain your netscape bookmarks (bookmark.html) and e-mail.

If you didn't use its e-mail and have converted its bookmarks (thru IE import). Then its safe to delete.
