6 month old 600w Corsair.
Dead as....wouldn't even light up the MB LED.

Under warranty and replaced but still....that's not on, a Corsair!

Not to mention the tantrum the relative threw this morning when the precious didn't boot up as usual.....sigh....nothing like, Could you please take a look......nah, act like a 3 yr old...
And it's my weekend...

Wouldn't a Corsair be made in China just like all the others.

Probably but they are made to a higher standard than cheap crap ones.

Of course, anything can and will break, it's just unusual for a good one to die that quickly.

All it takes is one good power surge, and any PSU can fry. Doesn't matter what the brand or size.

No brand has a 0% failure rate, maybe you just encountered the unlucky exception to a generally reliable brand.

yes, wasn't that though. I know, PSUs and HDDs, still, Corsair....disappointing. I expected other much older components before that.
