View Full Version : How to adjust photo size

30-12-2011, 05:02 PM

I have a scanned photo from 6" x 4" size.

I have tried to use it as a background of my monitor but the problem was its size didn't fit my monitor (only showed half)

How do I adjust photo's size to fit my monitor?

Thanks in advance.

You can resize the picture, might make the PC a bit faster.

But if not, just right click the wallpaper and choose personalise.
On the bottom there should be a picture of your wallpaper and the link called "Backgound Wallpaper". Click it.
The picture position drop down menu - bottom right of that dialog box. Choose "fit".

What OS? In W7 you just right click it and chose set as wallpaper.

If nothing changed are you using Starter? You cant change the background, unless you use some kind of hack. Or stretch it (if the option is there)

Get hold of "Image Resizer" or set the properties on your scanner to a more realistic size :)
