Hi, just been listening to Radio NZ National where Te Radar and others were talking about some intriguing news story about 50 year old TV broadcasts being somehow reflected back to earth. As it was a discussion by comedians they didn't go into any technical detail, so I have tried to search google for the story but cant find anything about it. Anybody know anything else about this story? Or perhaps this story has no basis in reality at all? Does sound a bit far fetched...

I've heard of the concept before, don't know if it's true though, seems unlikely.

If it wasn't an April Fools joke, it could explain all the repeats....

. . . it could explain all the repeats....
So, if it's not April 1, the old programs could just be the standard Xmas fare?

It's time to worry when the 'reflected' transmissions show the Aliens winning in the battle against the Earthmen.

You can run, but you can't hide!

Don't really see what the problem is. We have old TV shows bouncing back from space all the time. 'Are You Being Served' 'MASH' 'Yes Minister' to name just some. These shows must have been somewhere for the past few decades. Space is as good a place as any.

space has more storage space than the cloud, so is able to store them all better. It also works as a personal video recorder - its called myspace.
