Kia ora Tatou,

We have a DIR 685 802.11N minus the hard drive.
Another wifi router 802.11N belkin? with internet access and two pcs using ASUS USB 802.11N adaptors
We also have lase printer with USB and Ethernet ports.

Objective network the devices and provide Internet access and connect the printer to the network.

Something to consider is that belkin is connected to another printer and three other workstations with speicifed IP addresses (currently there is no DHCP on this network).

We have considered connecting the second printer to the D-link DIR 685 with usb and use give it wifi functionality?
In short, what is the best way to connect these devices and is there a suitable primer on how to it?

Many thanks,

wouldn't easier use one router and put printer there? If u Ned extra ports think you can use a switch. not sure if u could simultaneous connect to two networks maybe with two wirelease cards? U could perhaps diconnect from one and connect to other........

Get a powerline adaptor & connect the 2 routers together by using your power plugs as network jacks.
